Trustees meet twice a year in order to consider Full Grant Applications. Applications are invited from organisations and individuals.  However, individuals must provide a supporting letter from a charity, voluntary organisation, school, or professional such as their GP or social worker. Shortly after the meeting, applicants will receive an e-mail with Trustees' decision.

Trustees cannot make grants based on estimates.  Please make sure only accurate costs are supplied with quotes. If you are seeking funds for items from nationwide stores, please include a link to the item on their website.

The Trustees meet twice a year to approve grant applications, but appreciate there are times when an immediate response is required to meet a specific need.

In order to address this issue, the Secretary has discretion to make small grants of up to £150 in between Trustee meetings.

The fund is only available to individuals living in the Leeds Metropolitan District and to be used to respond to an urgent need. As with the full grants programme, the emergency fund is aimed to pay for items that will bring a significant benefit to an individual's quality of life.

Please note that the Trust has been adversely affected by unrest in certain parts of the World and the current economic climate and income to fund both Full Grants and Emergency Grants is less than in previous years.
